Shipping Policy

Please carefully review our Shipping & Delivery Policy when purchasing our products. This policy will apply to any order you place with us.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

We offer free shipping on all orders.

HOW IS MY SUBSCRIPTION FULFILLED?

Orders are usually sent out within 1-3 business days of your initial order, and you will receive a shipment notification when your box has shipped.

Generally, orders arrive within 2 weeks of being placed. We are afraid that we cannot guarantee that your box or order will arrive by a certain date.

For those who have a prepaid multi-month subscription (3/6/12 Month Prepaid Plan), your second month’s box forward will be shipped out approximately a month after each shipment. For example, if your first box is shipped out on 15th April, your second box will be sent out on between 11th and 20th May.

COUNTRIES IN WHICH OUR SERVICE IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

Our service is currently available for residents in the US, Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore. We are working on other countries’ regulations and permissions as well, so we are expecting more countries will be available soon. We will announce on SNS when it happens.

CUSTOM FEES

Please note, we may be subject to various rules and restrictions in relation to some international deliveries and you may be subject to additional taxes and duties over which we have no control. The declared value of items in a shipment (JPY 4,000 at most) should be within the duty-free allowance for most countries. However, it is up to you to confirm your country’s import regulations as we are not responsible for any custom fees that may incur to receive your shipment. If such cases apply, you will be responsible for any such additional costs or taxes.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS DELAYED?

Due to unforeseen events such as weather and customs clearance, delays are possible. If your shipment has not arrived after 4 weeks from the shipping confirmation email, please feel free to contact us at beanshousetokyo@gmail.com

Also, if your package does not arrive within 5 business days of being marked as delivered, we ask that you contact your local post office first and then contact us at beanshousetokyo@gmail.com so we can proceed with the next steps.

WHAT HAPPENS IF ITEMS IN MY BOX ARE MISSING OR DAMAGED?

When your items are missing or damaged, please submit pictures mentioned below in order for us to expedite a resolution:

  1. Pictures of all sides of the box (applies to both missing and damaged item issue)
  2. Pictures of all items received in the box (applies to both missing and damaged item issue)
  3. Pictures of individual items, showing the damaged part (applies to damaged item issue)

Compensation will differ depending on the conditions of items but it is generally done in the form of partial refund or item replacement.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BOX IS LOST IN TRANSIT?

Do not worry. When we confirm the lost box, we will send another box as soon as we can.

It is common that boxes get lost before they reach destinations. If your shipment has not arrived after 4 weeks from the shipping confirmation email, please contact us at beanshousetokyo@gmail.com
